This blog is where Mike Serovey, an ordained elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, posts his rants, thoughts and some of his research on various religious and spiritual topics. His bias will be toward the teachings of the LDS church, but he will attempt to be objective and will raise some questions not easily answered by any religion that he knows of. Some people may be offended by his questions and proposed answers.

When Was Jesus Really Born?
Most Christians celebrate Christmas on December 25, which is near the Winter Solstace. The Mormon church beleives that Jesus was born in April and I have heard some other people say March. Even so, most Mormons celebrate Christmas in December and also follow most other Christian traditions. I also celebrate Christmas in December, but don't know when Jesus was really born. I'm inclined to go with March because that is what most Bible scholars beleive.
